whatever

Today a courier package arrived while we were out. Sometimes Canada post brings packages of similar size. Usually the postman (or woman, i don't know) leaves it on our porch bench. Sometimes obscured by the rosebush, sometimes not. Today however was a little different. Instead of on the bench, or on the porch in front of the bench, it was under our doormat. Very obviously under our door mat. It would have been less conspicuous jammed in the mailbox, with streamers! Really now, under the mat? It looked like the cat had gotten out and was hiding. Whatever happend to a slip of paper requesting ones presence at the post office or courier store? Really now, under the mat? Who do you think you're foolin'? :P
